2025 Impact Report

The 2025 Impact Report captures JALAN Civic Lab’s work over the year in advancing people-centred approaches to civic, digital, climate, and data democracy across Southeast Asia. Through workshops, webinars, fellowships, publications, and regional collaborations, the Lab engaged youth, educators, policymakers, civil society, and researchers to address interconnected challenges including children’s rights in digitalised and conflict-affected contexts, climate justice, academic freedom, ESG and business human rights, and inclusive education.

Grounded in research, dialogue, and public engagement, the report highlights how JALAN Civic Lab translates critical knowledge into practice—bridging evidence, lived experiences, and policy conversations. It showcases contributions that amplify marginalised voices, strengthen regional solidarity, and promote rights-based governance in times of democratic, digital, and environmental uncertainty.
